The Perry Hall, Maryland Recreation & Parks Council is sponsoring its 10th
annual invitational baseball tournament to be held June 25th through July
2, 2005. The
tournament features an exciting tournament format with a minimum 3 game
guarantee. The 1st two days will be round robin in seeded
divisions. Each age group will have their own championship day under the lights.
Last year 80+ teams participated. Entries are accepted on a first come, first
serve basis only. We will play the round robin from 8AM to 8PM on Saturday, June
25 and Sunday, June 26.
Important dates:
Entry: Friday, June 3, 2004 - All entries due
Draw: Sunday, June 12, 2005, 8 PM - Perry Hall Elementary School - important to
attend
Play: Divisional Round Robin - June 25 & June 26;
Championship at 6 PM & 8:30

Tournament Information:
Eligibility: Open to all recreation council teams in Maryland (No
Metro teams permitted, others call for more information). Placement in "B" bracket determined by
tournament committee. Factors to be considered; team record, size of in-house
program, already have an "A" team, etc.
Brackets: 9-10, 11-12, 13-14 - A&B Brackets - Age cutoff August 1.
Format: 1st 2 days seeded divisional round robin, followed
by 4 top teams in single elimination championship.
Field sizes: 9-10 - 46'/60' (No leadoffs), 11-12 - 50'/70' (leadoffs), 13-14
- 54'/80' (leadoffs)
Costs:
Entry fee: See below. Each team provides 1 new ball before game.
Umpires: Each team to pay umpires prior to game (1 ump for 9-10 & 11-12 &
2 umps for 13-14)
